{"id":516,"date":"2018-04-16T13:33:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-16T13:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chrisbart.com\/?p=516"},"modified":"2018-04-16T13:36:14","modified_gmt":"2018-04-16T13:36:14","slug":"kindle-drop-capitals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chrisbart.com\/reviews\/2018\/04\/16\/kindle-drop-capitals\/","title":{"rendered":"Kindle Drop Capitals now possible"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>I bought a program called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.extendoffice.com\/download\/kutools-for-word.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KU TOOL<\/a>s that at a keystroke could remove (but not replace) drop capitals from the printed version of <a href=\"https:\/\/chrisbart.com\/table-of-contents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Air Crashes and Miracle Landings<\/em><\/a> before putting it on the Kindle. as they did not work there. There was an expensive program that could do it, but judging from a professionally produced book I read on the Kindle the result was hardly pleasing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>When I recently made\u00a0 a Kindle file submission test run on getting my book ready for pre-orders I left the drop capitals in and they came out really beautiful.
